Our History
The Yucatecan hammocks are of a great tradition within Mexican crafts as well are use in the Mayan region of Mexico, a customs that goes back long before the arrival of the Spaniards in America. Today, with the manufacture of new fibers, hammocks offer a wide range of options in textures and colors.
An undoubted attraction of the hammocks that we manufacture in Artemayab, is the care with which artisans make the product by hand following the indications of our design department to obtain unique items in color and designs.
And so we accomplish our objective that is, to provide at the same time, an article for rest and decoration.
Mayan voices say “a hammock is like the arms of a mother” because precisely in a warm way she swings her baby.
